General Questions

Are you insured?

Yes, we carry full public liability insurance and industry-leading insurances for your complete peace of mind.

Do you cover my area?

We're based in Burton-on-Trent and cover all surrounding areas including Derby, Swadlincote, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Mickleover, Littleover, and villages across Staffordshire and Derbyshire. Call us on 07539 979784 to check your postcode, or visit our service area page.

How soon can you come out?

We typically book 1–2 weeks in advance, but we always try to accommodate urgent requests. Call us for current availability.

How much does professional carpet cleaning cost?

We don't have a one-size-fits-all price because every home is different. The cost depends on the number of rooms, their size, the carpet type, and the level of soiling. We provide a free, no-obligation quote after a quick pre-inspection, so you'll know the exact price before any work begins.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash or bank transfer for your convenience.

Do I need to be home during the clean?

Most customers prefer to be there to let us in and do a final walkthrough. However, if you need to pop out, we're happy to lock up once we're done—just let us know in advance.

What should I do to prepare before you arrive?

Please clear small items from the floor such as toys, shoes, and cables. We'll handle moving larger furniture. Also, please let us know about any specific stains or concerns when we arrive so we can treat them first.

Carpet Cleaning

What are the different methods available for carpet cleaning?

Hot water extraction uses a solution pre-spray applied first to break down soils, then a wand injects hot rinse water and a neutralising solution and vacuums it up along with dirt and allergens. Carpets are typically dry in 2–4 hours with air movers. It's our go-to method for a deep, restorative clean.

Low-moisture encapsulation uses an encapsulation solution that is sprayed onto the carpet, then a machine oscillates and absorbs the solution along with the soil using a microfibre pad, leaving behind very low, fast-drying moisture. Carpets are dry in as little as 30–60 minutes. This makes it perfect for commercial settings or busy households that need minimal downtime.

Dry compound cleaning uses an absorbent powder that binds to soil and is vacuumed away. Carpets are completely dry and ready for immediate use. This is ideal for delicate fibres or situations where zero moisture is required.

We'll recommend the best method for your specific carpet after our pre-inspection.

How long will it take for my carpets to dry?

Drying time depends on the method used. For hot water extraction, carpets are typically dry in 2–4 hours with air movers. For low-moisture encapsulation, carpets are dry in as little as 30–60 minutes. For dry compound cleaning, your carpet is ready for immediate use. We'll discuss the best option during your free quote.

Can you remove red wine, coffee, or pet stains?

We carry professional spot treatment solutions for almost every type of stain. While no one can guarantee 100% removal of every stain, our success rate is extremely high. We'll assess during your free pre-inspection.

Can you remove pet urine smells and stains?

Yes, this is one of our specialties. Standard cleaning often isn't enough for pet accidents. We use professional-grade enzymatic treatments that don't just mask the odour but actually break down the uric acid crystals and bacteria that cause it. For deep-set issues, we treat the carpet backing and pad.

Are the cleaning products you use safe for my children and pets?

Absolutely. We primarily use eco-friendly, biodegradable solutions that are tough on dirt but gentle on your home. They are safe for use around children and pets. If you have specific allergies or sensitivities, please let us know during your free quote.

Can you clean wool carpets?

Yes. Wool requires specific pH-neutral solutions and careful moisture control. We're fully trained in wool-safe cleaning methods.

How often should I have my carpets professionally cleaned?

We recommend every 12–18 months for most households. Homes with pets, children, or allergy sufferers benefit from every 6–12 months. Many carpet manufacturers require professional cleaning every 12–24 months to maintain warranty coverage.

Why shouldn't I just rent a machine from the supermarket?

Rental machines lack the power, heat, and extraction of professional equipment. They often leave carpets over-wet and full of residue, which attracts dirt faster and can cause mould or odour issues. Professional cleaning delivers deeper results and protects your investment.

Do you offer stain protection treatment?

Yes. After cleaning, we can apply a professional-grade nano-particle protector that repels oil and water-based spills, making future accidents easier to clean and extending the life of your carpets and upholstery.

Upholstery & Hard Floors

Do you clean upholstery as well as carpets?

Yes. We clean sofas, armchairs, dining chairs, ottomans, and fabric headboards. We inspect the fabric type first and choose the safest, most effective method for your furniture.

Can you clean my hard floors too?

Yes. We clean tile, grout, vinyl including Karndean and Amtico, laminate, and natural stone. We also offer strip and seal services for luxury vinyl floors.

My vinyl floor looks dull even after I mop. Why?

This is very common. Routine mopping removes surface dust but can't take off the micro-layer of grease and residue that builds up over time and dulls the finish. Our professional hard floor service includes a deep scrub and, where needed, a strip and seal process. We remove the old protective coating and apply a fresh seal, restoring the floor's original lustre.

Can you get my grout back to its original colour?

In the vast majority of cases, yes. Grout is porous and absorbs dirt, grease, and grime over time. We use specialised high-pressure cleaning equipment and professional-grade solutions to break down that build-up and flush it away. The transformation is often dramatic.

Commercial Cleaning

Do you offer commercial cleaning for offices and pubs?

Yes, we have experience working with businesses across Burton, Derby, and Swadlincote. We offer flexible scheduling to work around your business hours, including evenings and weekends, to minimise disruption. We use low-moisture methods that get your carpets and upholstery back in service quickly.
